COMMISSIONS
Commissioning a sculpture is easier than you might think, and starts with an informal chat
A Simple 3-Step Process
1.
During our initial, obligation-free chat I do my best to find out what you have in mind. This could include your idea, your budget, the size or a location the work needs to fit. Whether you have a good idea of what you want or wish me to make suggestions, or seen a specific work of mine and would like to commission something similar. I specialise in dogs but will consider any animals.
2.
If you decide to go ahead we can exchange ideas and discuss design. I ask for a deposit to secure the commission. I start with ideas/plans of what can be created. I will require good quality images for reference and will provide initial rough sketches.
I will give a basic time frame for completion of the work. It is entirely dependent on the size and complexity, and other deadlines I have. If it is needed for a specific time I’ll do my utmost to accommodate, and I advise you to get in touch well in advance.
3.
Once we’ve agreed terms, you’re happy and a 50% deposit is paid, I will start the creation of your sculpture. I record the process, and keep you regularly updated with photographs and information as I work so you will be reassured everything is proceeding satisfactorily.
The remaining 50% is paid on completion of the final work. I can include the cost of tracked and insured shipping with your initial quote, if required.
