“That which interests me above all else is the calligraphy of a tree or the tiles of a roof, and I mean leaf by leaf, branch by branch, blade by blade of grass.”
— Joan Miro
All of these pictures were taken in the stunning Jardíns de Cap Roig in Palafrugell in Catalunya, Spain.
That day was quite overcast, so the perfect time to wander around the mediterranean gardens; a perfect blend of nature and art. Scented jasmine and rose, bougainvillea and pomegranate, pine and tamarind, succulents and cacti, olive and Judas tree. And at every turn contemporary sculpture and views of the sea. Heaven on Earth.

**I’ve just realised this month marks my 10 year anniversary of shooting film! You can see my very first photo on my old, very cringeworthy blog here.
I also made a little video of the gardens on my iPhone. I’ve never really tried anything like this before, but I enjoyed the process very much. There’s another little film I made while snorkelling over on my Instagram. I’m now doing a short film-making course online as this is definitely something I want to explore further.
